Well I didn't go for 40 but did put 35psi in the rear wheel and went for a careful trot to get its mot.
Which happened with a pass, bike felt pretty good, nice a smooth, chain needed a slight tighten but fingers crossed that's all.
Ill check the rear pressure again later to see if the tyres seated after the run.

Congrats on the MOT, that's a mighty nice machine you have there. The best thing is, you brought it back with your own two hands.
