Thanks for your encouragement, we are waiting for the tig solder to proceed with the exhaust that is the hardest challenge. once it's done, we'll proceed with minor frame and electric mods. Finally we'll fit the cams, ignitec, lightened flywheel and shall make fine tune to the whole assembly. Fiberglass mods will come as the latter before the final stripping and paint job. I'll post everything here. keep tuned.
Cheers
Pietro

I'm not sure about that! we learn off each other, that's what the forum is all about.A lot of what i've picked up came from the TT F3 thread on this site and there are loads of very knowledgeable people on here........i'm still learning!

Colinf, what's your opinion. I want to lighten my generator, I can't fit the gsxr1000 k5 couse different hole size and outer diameter. Do you think I could machine the metal thikness and make holes? Do you know someone here in the forum that can suggest me on what to do exactely?

There was a post by pauliealdridge69 on a thread about lighter generators which said the RVF400R one is lighter than an NC30 one.Neither are that cheap i imagine but it might be worth contacting him to compare weight and dimensions at least as a starting point. If i can find anything on machining them i'll let you know.
