Re: vf400f d.o.b.a.r. project
Good news work's in progress. I'll add some shots in a couple of week as soon as frame swing and forks are ready. We have found the right set up for the rs250 rear shock modifying the dog bone attack to the frame, and making some tests on the hydraulics. It's a great shock that allows plenty of regulation both in compression and rebounds, it's very sensitive to adjustments and predictable. IIn the first step the bike will have yoshi cams and oem exhaust except for the mufflers. On a second step we'll build the already projected pipes and collector box. We are oriented to make a carbon shell for the tank and body replying the oem line up covering an aluminum fuel tank.

Hi Colin, I planned to finish my first stage project before the Stelvio's international bike meeting, but I'm in late, in any case there are still 4 to 5 meters of snow and I'm not sure they'll organize it on the 1st weekend of July.

Stick with it . I've had a few bikes in for friends that have taken up too much time since i finished work on my TRX850 but i'm determined to get back onto the VF400RK.I made sure it stayed on one of the benches at all times though so it doesn't get "forgotten".

Rear shock upper mount alloy adapter to fit the rs250 nx5 unit on the nc30 swing in the vf400f frame. Sorry, but I don't know how to share photos now that tinypics has gone.
