It's a shame. It's part of the history of small japan bikes in europe (geographically speaking  )

Yes I’ve been a member on this new style forum since the start back in 2008 and the older version for two years previous to that. It’s a shame it’s going to become read only, the previous version is still there but can only read one post and the rest of the page is blank and that’s on every post. Hope this doesn’t go the same way in a couple of years

Steering stoppers regulators and upper cowl bracket fixing points ready to be welded. A little bit heavy, but I will save weight eliminating the original radiator upper support, the original steering stopper welded on the frame steering head, and some other minor metal parts no more needed. The stoppers are 20x12x12 mm while the bracket fixing points are 20x10 mm all of them have a 5mm thread hole. The ones on the steering stoppers are decentralized to allow the right stop point contact on the stoppers on the lower clamp.

Are steering stoppers the same as lock stops?

Ligurt, are you switching to the new forum or not bothering? Just curious.

Yes they are even if they can be manufactured and located in different place and ways, but they all do the same job, I shall weld them on the frame and use the screw to adjust steering angle precisely to avoid clamp from touching rad support or the clamps from touching the tank. Or simply to adjust for street or track use.

Not yet the definitive one, but almost ready flywheel sample model cover to fit gsxr1000 k7 stator and flywheel. Needs some minor mods to the stator orientation and to the way the wiring will be fixed and come out, in any case we will make them before monday. If everything will be confirmed as working fine, It will be machined in few days aluminum 6061. I'm not sure yet if I paint it or anodize. It wheights 360 grams aluminum made, but due to the mods it will be slight heavier we estimate 420 grams. I'll be more precise once we'll finish the drawing mods. If everything goes fine the engine will turn on for the first revving test within june the fifteen. I'll post some engine revvings though the 4 into 2 into 1 exhaust is not in the definitive configuration. i'll make some more tests and then I'll strip the bike down to the definitive paintin job.
