Re: FZR RRSP 3Tj7
Thanks Dobbsic, that would be great.
If you have an inclinometer a rough value for the carb angle would be good too. Assuming you have standardish tyre sizes and suspension length.

Here is a good thread showing how the carb angle on the bench may be achieved.

Yes, I have seen that one. I want to do mine on the bench too, but I don't know if the 400 carbs sit at the same angle as a 250.
cheers

Re: FZR RRSP 3Tj7
Pics. show 3EN1/3EN2 carbs.
These have no cast in line central to the bowls; therefore the MIKUNI line is the only point of reference.
Infact only one pair in the bank have the MIKUNI line clearly cast.
I expect these to be the same body as the 3TJ; they are identified as 3EN10 in the supplement but bare no physical
numbers.
The setting for the 3EN series lists the fuel height as 24.8 mm ( I would expect the difference in height is because the 3TJ has a more sloping engine angle.)

Good work Willandrip. Where did you get the info for the 3EN1?
It seems there is just not much available for anything other than 1WGs.

Re: FZR RRSP 3Tj7
Interesting readiing, in other news the bike is alive and kicking! as a last ditch attempt i got the carbs that i bought for spares back out, gave em a quick clean to get the worst of the corrosion and rust out of them, replaced the parts i pillaged for the so called good carbs and bingo off she went. fucking chuffed as a chuffed thing
Its firing on all 4 which im a little confused about as one of the HT leads still doesn't give any resistance reading and another one gives a lower reading than the other 2 but it works so im claiming that as a victory. I dont feel bad about splashing out on the dyna coils either as i put the OEM coils and leads back on and it wouldnt start.

Happy days mate. Now you can work on the other carbs in your own time happy in the thought she's a runner.

Great news. Take it for a ride and let us know how it runs.
