Nc30 number 3 , Project nice , tidy and semi original
Spotted a nice nc in the for sale section on here which had a few parts that i wanted for the oki bike, I had planned on taking the bits of that i wanted and breaking the rest but im going to put the parts of the oki that im nicking off it and slowly get it back to original condition , better than money in the bank i hope
few pics , will get some better ones but untill i sell the rgv i dont have any room for it at my house (cheers dad)
spec of it currently is ,
Maxton filled front forks, purchased from Graeme France.
Nitron shock with remote reservoir. Set up for 12st 7lb rider.
Full Micron stainless exhaust with a Fuel titanium end can with removable baffle.
Rick Oliver alloy radiators (Upper & lower).
Note; there is no fan due to the Micron exhaust but I have never had any problems with it getting too hot.
Programmable ignition box.
Carbs fitted with RO replica needles and various Honda cottage cheese screws replaced with stainless allen screws.
Carbon fibre infills.
Titanium gear change rod.
Titanium rear wheel nut & front axle bolt.
Hardly used Battlax BT090s front and rear.
UK headlights.
UK speedo.
Larger battery fitted.
New reg rectifier and indicator relay fitted last May.
Alloy mirror stay.
Rear hugger.
Quick release coupling in the fuel line for easy tank removal.
Pressure operated rear brake switch.
Longer Honda mirrors from an NC21 (I think) but I can see more behind than my elbows.
DB Powerbronze screen.
RVF front indicators (these light up when the bike is running).
The Rick Oliver rads will be going on the oki along with ignition and a few other little bits .
Also got a set of brand new genuine Honda lowers which im going to stash in the loft fair condition upper and a few other odds and sod's.
Once i have the front end on the oki it will be pretty mush done so i will then focus on this .

Re: Nc30 number 3 , Project nice , tidy and semi original
Nothing major to report apart from deciding to fit a carbon number board to my spare nose cone and a nice new clear double bubble screen .
I have started to order new honda bits for the semi rebuild although im still waiting for them , christ there expensive .
I also have most of the nuts , bolts and brackets from my previous nc which will be getting sent off for blasting and zinc coating at some point .
Im not to sure on it but i will leave it on for now and see what i think , sorry the pics aint amazing but it was chucking it down
Ordered this for the oki forgeting that i have a small res pot so its found a new home on this one
I fancy a jap style can for it like a kevlar tsr or an ethos if anyone has one they fancy letting go or even a system , maybe a deal to be done on the full micron system it has now.

Yeah I had one of his tank pads and liked the quality of it so for £40 I thought I'd give it a go , iv got a tyga rc45 seat unit which I'm also going to have painted and fit plus I fancy a corce mudguard , bubble wrap the originals and it's a couple hour job to swap it all over .
Starting to take more of a shine to this one than the oki .
Yea had a Play on webike and I was well impressed only took 6 days for ordering to be delivered .

Yeah ive had a few bits from them, always pretty quick. Do Coerce still do the angular Coerce hugger that i had on the OKI thought they had been superseded by a horrible RS one.

I'm not to sure on what styles they do but something like the one fitted to the oki would be what I'm after although its not a priority just hope I spot one cheap somewhere .

Do you have a micron can to go with the system?

Re: Nc30 number 3 , Project nice , tidy and semi original
Pulled the bike out and i think the cf number board looks alright
Honda bits arrived today , and iv made a list of what else i need .
I have decided to be proper organised with this one as the oki was a nightmare , i had bits all over the garage and wasted loads of time working out where bits were from and things that weren't from the bike .
Also have the bits to go and get blasted and plated at some point , luckily having all the bits spare i dont have to strip the bike to get it all sent off .
Started to spray a few small brackets , made a little spray booth with an old box and some lockwire which worked alright .
