Did a bit more today to the bike, and for once actually got to out for some scratching round the lanes.

Got the pillion seat cover painted.

And fitted these bad boys I had hanging around.

Just waiting on the graphics from Brooky now

Seeing as my project Honzuki has been put on hold I thought I would put the wheels to good use.

The VFR will need new tyres in the not too distant future so I'll get these painted gold as well as some new boots. Then swap the wheels over.

Graphics have finally turned up. Not a perfect match but still good enough to replicate Foggy's RC30.

Cheeky teaser shot half way through. Want to get some new rear number boards made up, the shape isn't quite what I wanted.

Might get some new numbers made, the 8 seems a bit lost on the board

I like that and yes the number 8 does look a little small. Im being picky here but shouldnt the front number board be bigger?

What colour did you use for the red? is it the same red as used on the britain bike?

Yep the front board should be a little bigger but I cut the template like that for ease of application.

No idea what red it is,
Basically the strory is, its a fairing off an old bike I had blasted over red after a few repairs about 6 years ago. The idea of the Fogarty scheme was never to be a perfect match but get away from the 'broken then fixed and painted a single colour' look.

How the fairing looked on the old bike :|

I like the look of that, great job. The only thing I am not sure about are the red calipers on the front, I recon they should be black or gold.

Tyres are ordered and the wheels are at the painters now. Also got some bigger number 8's coming from Brooky too.

No idea what this painter is like so its a good test before I had him the PVM's to paint for my other nc30.
