Mine is not the same as that - but it is the same shape. Mine has "shoulders" on the rear headers - will try for a pic.

The end sections and middle sections are the same though.

Cool..might even get up the garage today and sort it out!

LOL...indeed..that Miniature Horse is called Lucky and he does have a serious bit of tackle. I think he liked the noise...

I've moved hosue so that was my mate Grandad taking the bike out of the garage where ti has sat since August last year.

I haev to thank Geoff for a motor that works and sounds pretty tight. After a long time on the Mille it was totally cool to get some big revs on the no9. Made me smile..though feck me, the bikem is teeny tiny and smaller than I remember!

SO..some cleaning up and a winter head refresh project if I find the time...but other than that, it is now insured tested and soon to be taxed..happy days.

Right on..

SO, I moved house...shit has been going down in china town adn poor old No9 has sat, for fucking ages and not been ridden.

I have a few things to sort out - needs clutch replacement, gsxr genny swapping from old broken motor to the newer one.

Got me some race fairings....clock mount, oil cooler to refit...and we are going racing.

not going to get crazy like last time and sack it adn build another bike - no9 is going to be turned into a tool I can use. Right now I ride the Mille to work and around and about as it is all in one piece, works perfectly and it deserves some abuse.

So..thread resurrection. After 8 and a half years of ownership...so many other bikes coming and going..we are back to the start.

1: will get some pics of how it is now...
2: will see if I can tidy my garage to get some room to work.
3: The wife is going to have a baby and so I need to find time to actually do some work...
4: get the clutch adn genny off my old motor - fit to this one
5: refit the mocal oil cooler into the nose
6: put the reg/rec in the nose too
7: get some race rearsets
8: blag a TD
9: get a race at cadwell..

Some bits in between I will document - quite fancy doing the valves, cleaning the heads and all that shit again to ensure the motor can breathe. I also need some skills..not really ridden fast since the Nurburgring in August...
