Ricky, I have a set of Chinese mid panels that you can have for nothing if you want as you WILL need them to fit the RVF nose cone. They're just in the loft taking up space.

Yes the tray does look nice, so much better than my old fiberglass one, i know you cant see it but it looks cool when the tank is off

Didnt get chance to ride it today i had to go do some proper work for a change :( . Will get out on it tomorrow and report back. TBH there was a very very slight pop/back fire coming from the right pipe (fronts) but it got better as it warmed up, i'll see how it rides tomorrow but i know its going to be so much better as the revs dont hang anymore.

Tested the bike today with the carbs james sent me, RVF carbs, short stacks, 130 mains, no airbox, HRC air tray and a makeshift foam filter that came with the carbs. Much better, pulls cleanly everywhere except maybe a little boggy down low but the indiction noise now is wicked im sure it was drowning out the twin TSR's  Power doesnt really get going till 8k and then it takes off but its still ridable below if a little flat, no noticable flatspots tho.

It did develope the hanging revs issue again although no where near as bad and perfectly ridable, it was that slight it only took for the clutch to be let out briefly when coming to a stop for the revs to drop down to normal, sometimes it was fine.

So next up is to sort the sticky float in my set of RVF carbs and run these the same yet with no filter at all just some mesh to keep the bumble bee's out, any sugestions on where to start with jet size for this setup???
