Re: VFR No4. The clothes horse
Been having a huge organise of all my spares to what I want to keep and what to sell.
This is what I found that can be used on this bike,
So basically I can see this one also turning into a full build but it will definitely be used to get my other fairing painted.
Clutch lever

Headlights (only got one rubber though)

Sprocket cover with speedo drive and cable

Coolant and vac pipes

Set of low mileage clocks (UK model?)

Ecu and Mmax box

Horn

Loom, this needs a right clean up!

Throttle and grips

Luggage hooks

Clean up the rear brake res

And the undertray (with new heat shielding)

Re: VFR No4. The clothes horse
Got the loom cleaned and retaped. Now all routed on the bike
RegRec and rear coil tested and mounted too.

Bought a master cylinder rebuild kit a while ago for a brake that just needed bleeding properly.
Put it to good use today.

Re: VFR No4. The clothes horse
Sick of looking at that shock cover so I picked this up

The spring was quite chipped so I changed it for one I had already.

Fitted. Also changed the wheels from my other bike.

Blasted the rear caliper.

Painted, with new rubbers, seals and pistons.

Dug out the switchgear from my spares that had the wiring hacked and picked a scuffed one for a cheap price.

Re: VFR No4. The clothes horse
This bike also got a bit of loving
The undertray was finished off with the fitting of the ecu, indicators and number plate.

and only a little thing but I fitted the rear brake master cylinder and reservoir

I was also busy making a lockset for it. Rather than buy a cheap knock off set, I took apart a barrel and with more than a few spares adapted it to fit the key (which fits the tank and pillion seat).
