I'm a fan of muc-off, gunk, a selection of brushes, wd40 and lots of cloths. I also use a cutting compound to refresh paintwork. used carefully it brings up old paintwork a treat ready for polishing.

Pretty much what I use. Do you just use autosol or metal polish for the exhausts?

wet and dry (quite a fine grade, used wet) then autosol

microfibre cloths rock for this. kind of thing too, you get a lovely smooth finish.

Steve, did you know you can get wet & dry pads, there kinda foam backed, proper body shops do them. Would be perfect for doing exhausts. They go up to 2000 grit maybe more.banoffee wrote:wet and dry (quite a fine grade, used wet) then autosol

Calipers cleaned and fitted with new pads
