Just ordered a steering damper (cheers Rick), not that it needs one but I fancy one, have them on all my bikes as had a bad experience at Cadwell without one once and this is going to end up on the track at some point.

HRC map - 'zingier' and 'crisper' not sure abot power though, but prefer it to stock
Steering damper - dunno, not ridden it with it on yet, not expecting much difference to be honest

Think it's finished, for now at least. Just considering a spare set of wheels (maybe in black) with stickier rubber for summer / track days but think that's about it.

It has answered my curiosity on what these great little bikes are like as never owned one before. I continue to be impressed with the engine and handling, much preferring both over say the GSXR400 I had a few years ago. I've got other bikes that are faster but I have to say I do love riding this as it's a great little package. It even gets some looks when am out and about on it or parked up at places like Box Hill. All in all, am well pleased

List of modifications, my reason for fitting and some findings (not rocket science)...

Goodridge hoses
the 20yr old OEM ones visibily bulged, combined with new EBC pads and of course fresh fluid these really sharpened up the brakes

Sprint steering damper
mainly for bling factor. partly as am paranoid after last track experience without one!

Renthal HA +2 rear sprocket
pull away and acceleration particularly in 1st gear much better in my opinion

Fuel stainless oval can with shortened baffle
sound (but not too loud), looks, weight saving, feels like it's released some power. ok mainly the sound!

116 / 118 DJ main jets
based on research and experimentation, feels pretty much spot on

Ignitech CDI with HRC map
fancied trying one, geek factor, feels much zingier with the HRC map. I lowered the redline slightly though, call me paranoid!

R.O. earthing upgrade kit
fitted mainly out of interest as was ordering some other and a cheap mod that couldn't really do any harm
