Re: Can I come back???
Well, we're back on a roll again. I've collected a lot of the necessary bits to have myself a bike built at some point this year. OK, so I started on the motor tonight. Got the cam covers off and checked the valve clearances. 10 ports out, 6 were fine. Most were tight apart from 1 that was extremely loose.
Shabby looking, but hopefully a power plant,
Easy to do out of the bike,
Cams off,
First figures,
All worked out and now need some new shims,
Hopefully more to update tomorrow.

Well, looks like the Fireblade shock isn't gonna fit into the 400. It's too tall. Only alternative is it lengthen the dog-bones so that the spring doesn't foul the swingarm.
Touching,
Where it needs to be at,

Re: Can I come back???
A good bit of progress tonight. Got all the valve clearances sorted and got the frame on and swingarm in. Slow progrees but getting there, Monday will see me fettle the carbs a bit and give them a good clean as well as fit the new bushes and seal and re-build the forks.

Forks now built with new bushes, new seals and fresh oil and out on loan to Royster for as long as he needs them. Loom is in along with CDI and M-Max box. Got some more pieces coming to keep the build going.
