But it's still an insurance write off bike. Frames come up easy and cheap. £50 or so!

yeah pal total every part stripped de-rusted nuts,bolts, spindles ect re-zinced frame swing arm powder coated ect ect ect

That's spotless looking really good. Nice finish on the frame and what a difference the replating has made very impressive.

All powder coating pating and de-rusting has come in at £110 plus about £80 in new bearings...headstock,rear hub, swing arm and linkages

Going down a similar path on a frame up build bought a replating kit and have cleaned the frame swinging arm up but don't think the local powder coaters could be trusted to come up with as good a finish as yours.
On the cat c thing mine is also for same reason although v5 has no mention of it does it just flag up on insurance database?

I would reframe it pal they cheap enough. Don bother with a plating kit search for zinc platters local to you, I've had all the nc30 parts, 2 Suzuki gt750 engines and 1 complete gt750 worth of bolts re-zinc for £35 cost me more to get the nc parts de-rusted coz they were SO bad. If you have light rust the zinc process will remove it
