Just spoke to him and he said he checked it with our local Honda dealer, the guy that works there in parts is a dip shit to be honest.
Did you get them numbers from the parts book?

I forgot about that site.Drunkn Munky wrote:No CMSNL
Reason why he was looking into this is he knows a guy that had some higher compression pistons made back end of last year for the 30 and 35 motors but he wanted £800 for a full set

He said on a fairly standard motor with very minor head work and exhaust they where getting 72hp but for £800 I would say thats a bit expensive.
Turns out the sets he had made are all now sold but he's having some more done this year and they with be half the cost so will keep posted if I hear anything and try get some more info as and when I can.

Not really sure on the details to much apart from they was made to higher the compression. When I get chance I will try get some more details on them and maybe a dyno and spec print out.

Thats probably where i have got confused.Cammo wrote:rvf pistons raise the compression on nc29 engines, perhaps that's what caused the confusion?reverse cylinder jim wrote: For some reason i thought the rvf pistons were higher compression?

My final settings were 132fr 134 r mains, 35 pilots, nc24 needles, nc24 slides, hrc imulsion tubes, p/s 1.5 turns out and air tube restricted to 2mm when it was last dyno'd on the old engineJamboy wrote:James what jetting have you started off with??
But this may have to change now im running Ricks bellmouths as ive scrapped the air tube resrictor i had to use on the cut down standard bellmouths.

Why NC24 needles and not Ricks HRC rep needles?

All i can put it down to is that my engine was so tired that it could not burn the extra fuel as it always seems to run smaller jetting compared to everyone elses bike with the sames state of tune.
Everything might change now it actually has an engine with compression
