Re: Track bike build 08, winter refresh/upgrades 09
Anyhow, took the bike to the dyno today. Making 61.5 bhp so fairly happy with that. What it did show up was at around 8k revs theres a dip in power, which i had noticed at the trackdays id done. Usually when coming out of the hairpins when the revs drop below that 8k blip. The guy at spr racing where i had it tested said a dyno kit would sort this out. Now i bought a box of needles and jets a while back, so im guessing i can pretty much make the "dyno kit" up myself. Just need to know what sizes are in it really, will ask this question in the workshop section!

Spare set of rvf fork legs bought from ebay, so will get one set done by a company and will just refresh the other set and do a back to back test.

Right ive fitted the rvf front end in, no major issues apart from having to source some nc35 spacers. You need the rvf spindle too.

Nice....cheers for the info about the spindle and spacers, I'll have to remember to ask aly for some of those when I go to see him next weekend to pick up my Maxton 35 front end

I'm going to swap the SP1 calipers that are on the NSR and use them with the standard RVF M/C.
Got a pair on SES ally clip ons coming as well.
Need to get the stem done at some point myself, an engineer bloke reckons I can do it myself so I'll have a go but he will do it if I can't which is more likely lol
I probably won't fit them to my trackbike as I want to reframe it anyway as I want to daytime MOT it, got some things to decide on as well like fitting a bigger rad as I don't want to fit a fan but I'm not sure how that will work with the ram air and the wheel hitting the rad.
Mate I'm going to need your help when it comes to swapping over a swingarm as I've never done it.
