Lasse
this is a great work. What do you think your bike will weigh?

Re: Svedberg's RVF Race bike
Thanks guys!
I haven't got a clue about the overall weight of the finished bike, but I figure if I try to shave as much as I reasonably can on each part then maybe I'll come out below 150kg.

You know, I think there's a spot of corrosion on one of those linkage nuts.
As for the rest, it's okay.

As for the rest, it's okay.

But on the other side of things, there's VERY little corrosion on the Ti bars in my workshop, waiting to be transformed into linkage bolts and nuts...and I think the standard ones are OK for mocking things up at this stage

Come on Lasse, give us (the humble people) at least a chance for irony...

Honey, the Ti nuts and bolts would be okay-ish for "mocking things up", until you get round to machining the adamantium in the basement...L.Svedberg wrote:tanto wrote:You know, I think there's a spot of corrosion on one of those linkage nuts.![]()

(I was going to make a quip about the bolts not being titanium... Where's that "Shoot myself in the head" smilie?)
