From looking at DM's thread his looks like one with mids panels built in and i remember before that he didnt like his previous kit which was like mine , i think ?

The upper you have is the same as the one i had on the white rvf below in my sig, i've still got it hence with the matching mids. The one on the RVF im building is a VFR upper with mid panels attached, it was cheaper than buying a new RVF one from silhouette so is worth the hassle fitting it and rebuilding the missing rear section of the lowers.
