
It's been completely stripped and rebuilt with:
- A new(er) engine from another member of this here forum (valve clearances checked)
- All new fluids
- Both brakes rebuilt and bled
- New(ish) RO radiators
- Wheels powdercoated with new BT-92s fitted
- All bearings checked and re-greased
- Carbs (NC35) rebuilt with new gaskets, right size jets for stock exhaust and HRC-replica springs
- New air filters
- Loom re-wrapped and most connectors replaced or at least cleaned
- New R1 reg/rec
- New battery
- Exhaust cleaned, polished and new collars welded on and fitted with all new gaskets
- New RO bars and Renthal grips
- Coerce rearsets
- All fairings repaired with Plastex where required
- Lots of new SS nuts and bolts
There's probably more but, it's been such a long process, that's all I can think of off the top of my head! There's plenty more to do still. Next on the list is suspension, but that's going to have to wait now. The only problem is I've run out of money (again) so I can't tax and MOT it until the end of the month. That's a long time to sit looking at a bike.
