Well I wasnt sure fuel was gettin through either last time I was cranking engine so I aint sure if that contributed to the black 2 end plugs.

Also am havin difficulty getting the idle screws to seat, plug 4 one seams to screw in further than the rest, I will have to have a better look at it, I think the threads are fooked because when number 1 feels like its seated, if I twist a bit more it'll keep going so I am kinda at a loss as to how to set these now.

I got coils from s GSF 650 Bandit 07 model ones :D choke is working fine.

I had two choices of main jets in me kit, a 122.5 and a 117.5 so I went with the lowest one, 117.5

Any idea what am doing wrong lol could these idle screws be messing it up not starting ?

these you have to screw real lightly as they will bore out the hole if you go to far

a FYI for all whenever you rebuild these carbs you should always set them on a bench for 5 minutes at the angle that they would site on the bike and hook some fuel to them with a bottle and let them fill up if they do not dump fuel on your bench in five minutes your safe for the most part...I usually tilt them then to the angle that they would site on the kick stand just to make sure all is good cause i hate to put them in just to take them back out.

you could probably tune these with a color tune or a gas analyzer i think the stock pipes have screws on each header to accomplish this.

I have the color tune to check combustion but I need it running first lol.

New set of plugs went in the 400, new emulsion tubes, new o-rings all through, new jet kit, idle screws set to 2.75 turns out, float heights set to 15mm as per factory pro instructions.

The plugs are sparking and am sure the fuel is getting through, I have spent a couple of hrs trying to bump it, and no joy whatsoever.

I don't know what else I can do, why wont it fire ? could it be getting too much fuel ? but then wouldnt it backfire ?

Does anyone know what I should try next ? what would you guys do in this situation ? I've just about give up as I have exhausted all options that I am aware of :(

Cheers.

Matt.

maybe need to adjust the valves... did you put new plugs in or the them black ugly ones back in they are fouled...fouled means they spark out of the bike but when put under the load of compression it wont start... or maybe your plugs wires are hooked up wrong...
