Hello all!

So after a very long time of me trawling eBay for parts to repair my bike I managed to find a donor engine. With enough good parts to make one good out of two. I’ve got everything laid out ready to go I just need to get a base gasket and a head gasket, ideally I would like to replace all the side casing gaskets too.

Where can I find some?

Use bandit 400 ones. The blue ones are good on ebay. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Suzuki-GSF-4 ... Swwb9dkZpK
clutch is also available.

Athena stuff is ok, and usually within 0.1mm of suzuki oem stuff. I use Suzuki base gaskets, athena head gaskets/ebay side gaskets and always oem valve stem seals personally. Learnt the expensive way, but yours may be ok.
If you let me know what is/was wrong with the engine's I can advise more. Remember these little engines suffer from valve guide wear from thrashing/poor maintenance so measure carefully. Otherwise it will use oil, and create excess carbon build-up

Here are the best quality valve stem seals I've been able to find. They are made of Viton rubber.

You can really tell the difference when you hold one of these in your hands and compare it to the OEM Suzuki stem seal. And when compared to the Athena stem seal there's a huge difference in quality.

A friend of mine in Kansas City, Missouri just installed a set of these and I've got a set on hand for installation in the fall of this year. Both of our Bandits were getting a bit smokey.
