hi guys,i realy skrewed up,this is my sityation,
So i have a broken key in my igntion(bought it like that) so i decided to remove the upper triple clamp wich didnt come off very easy, had to tap it off,any way i inspected the job and didnt do it coz i didnt have the tools,i decided to put the upper triple back on wich again didnt go on easy, when i got it on far enough to see the stem thread i put the nut on and pulled the triple clamp down while tightening the nut, when everything was finally in place i noticed i did'nt put the washer under the stem nut,i then attempted to remove the nut and it was so tight that i hurt my shoulder, and thats when i realised i messed up the thread on the stem and the nut.I got the nut off eventually and it was messed up.
Anyways of fixing this without replacing the stem, like re-threading or anything like that.
Will try and post some pics.
Any help is much appreciated.

Ouch. You did a good job on that. To be honest, I think you'll be safer just replacing the lower yoke and spindle.
