Re: Lets try again!!
Great project and enjoy following your progress.
I noticed the debate between standard and SP clutch/case cover. I'm leaning toward that being a difference in model year more than standard vs SP. Looking at my 90-91 SP/SP2 parts manual, they show 5 springs/bolts and 8 clutch plates which would match a standard clutch.
As for oil volumes I'm opposite of what an earlier post said. I have a standard 1990 L model and it shows 2900ml. I have an SP or SP2 spare engine (model year unknown but came with a 1990 SP2 CDI) which shows 2500ml.
It is interesting though, there is no different part number for different clutch cover listed in the 90-95 standard bikes parts manual and none listed in the 90-91 SP/SP2 manual either. There are separate numbers though for the 93-94 clutch basket, cams and ignition rotor. Even with the two different clutch baskets it does not show a difference in the number of bolts and springs they need.

They bolt straight on only because i made the riser`s with the required hole spacings. Look closely at the rearsets on one of my post`s...
