25 amp main fuse blows when I connect the battery

Hi all I’ve got a 92 gk76a that I pulled apart over the winter and give it a good clean up etc . Anyway before i did this all the electrics worked fine .so today I have connected all the loom back connected the battery and pop the 25 amp main fuse popped and I didn’t even turn the ignition on . I have gone over and over the loom making sure everything was right and it keep doing it as soon as I connect the battery I have also checked for bare wires earthing out on the frame or something . I’m at a loss now does anyone know what it could be . I’ve just passed my bike test and I’m desperate to get out on it cheers Louis

Hi Louis, it will probably be the regulator/rectifier unit. Disconnect the plug to it and see if the 25 amp stays good.
