Another question.... what forks you got on there? How long are they in comparison to the standards and what do they need in order to make them fit?

Re: Gallery
YZF thundercat, just got them ti'd by some local guys who make down hill MB hubs/parts. 41mm fit in the yokes and about the same length as the jap B4 but the calipers are a pain as they are big and hit the wheel, had to machine the calipers and have one off discs from EBC. If i did it again id use B12/RF900 dics as these fit the jap B4 wheel and then use Brembo's with plates to mount to the fork legs, i may still go this way as the B12 rotors are 310mm and the hybrids ive got are 298mm and expensive. you could poss fit FZR 600R foxeye forks as these are 41mm also but if youve got riser bars not clipons then the Yam forks would stick out the top. B4's should have clipons on anyway its how Suzuki made the bike and it was butchered for the euro market.

Re: Gallery
Ahh i see then, im just on the hunt for some good condition forks to fit to my bike as ive got gsxr4 ones on at the moment and theyre just a little bit too short for my liking. I might end up getting some stanchions straightened and rechromed. How much does ti coating cost? and would the company who did yours be able to straigthen slightly bent legs as well? Im guessing ti replaces the hard chrome.

Re: Gallery
The Ti is applied to the chrome and is microns thick, it cost £200 and i dont know if this is good or bad value as i took the offer due to the guys being in Stoke. If your forks are slightly bent with no wrinkles in the leg you can get them straightend. If anyone thinks the price is good i can get them done for them, if i was ripped off please say nothing.

VVS - that is a shining example of some good hard work there - well wear!Variablevalves suck wrote:Some photos of the Bandit.
And this is the bike today. After the smell and sound of the VFR400 on the dyno i kicked in and have 98% finished, just waiting for some Krontec oil lines and then i can put oil in and fire the girl up. :D
