1991 gsxr400r jap import vin number urgant

Hi cud anybody help in trying to send of for my logbooks as previous owner hasn't sent them and in filling out the form v62 to spot but in stuck I need to no where n what is my vin number it says 17 digits... But I can only find 11 starting with gk74a xxxxxx. Would this be correct as I've read that jap models only had 11...please help guys
