GK76 just finished with a few mods

Post by Stu55 » Mon Jun 03, 2013 9:53 am

Thought I'd post some pics of my GK76 I've been working on for the last year but couldn't get the image insert to work so you'll need to go to my flikr page.

It's an SP model.

I got the swing-arm braced, rebuilt the suspension, added some rear-sets, LED rear lights, R6 Link pipe and silencer, single seat and painted it to loosely resemble the SERT bike from 1990.

Going to Castle Combe this week to try it out should be fun.

Lovely, I've got one of these on my wish list.

Being a bit picky, the only thing I'm not keen on is the brake light. I'd be tempted to recess it into the seat cowl. But that's just my opinion.

Thanks for uploading the pics I couldn't make it work.

Yes still deciding on the light I have the original so may fit that as well.

The SERT bike had 2 rows of LEDS like mine but not sure if it was recessed, getting pictures of them other than side on is tricky.

Next job is probably to get a ali tank made with air inlets but that's way more money so will have to wait a while. GIA engineering in Nottingham did the bracing and make some lovely tanks and frames etc so I am tempted.

Nice, I like that. I'll try to find some more pics of that endurance bike.
