Hello to everyone!

I own a Bandit 400 Slingshot and it was imported here in Greece at 08/1995..
The Vin number is 11 digit and not 17 like every other usual vin.
For this reason, i can't find out the actual model year.
Does anyone knows anything about this?

My vin number is GK75A 126461.. (as marked on the bike's frame)

According to my database it's a 1993 GSF400P

The reason for having 11 digit VIN is still a mystery to me..
It is a UK version because of the single front brake disk?
Also before i install the Yoshimura exhaust it had a black painted (not stainless) exhaust manifold.

I can find that only the UK version had these two characteristics..

I found this topic because I'm in a similar position.
I have a (supposedly) '93 GSF400. However since the manual specifies different valve clearances for '92 and '93, I'm trying to find out whether mine is really a '93.

My registration says "Date first registered (anywhere in the world)": 04-1993.
However my framenumber is GK75A-1151xx.

According to this topic and other sources like this site it can't really be a 1993.

So my question is: What is this database you talk about? What year is my GSF400?
