Deresticted or not?

How can I tell if my GK76A is restricted or not?
It's got a 180kph top speed marked on the speedo and it will go right through this no problems. (private road

)
A guy that might want to buy it says that it's a restricted bike and it will cost him extra to sort it etc etc.
Any ideas?

There are two types of restriction.
1) 180kph that is easily removed (cheap), if you can go above 180 then its been removed. A lot of importers removed it as it was a simple resistor mod.
b) pre 1993 bikes are 59 hp and post 93 bikes are 53hp. There is very little in them and altho the 59 hp bikes may go a little faster flat out the 53 hp models make more torque and are actually better as a road bike.
All manufacturers went to 53 hp and most just altered the cam and ignition timing to drop the power a little down the rev range.

The GK76a won't go above 110mph on stock gearing unless it's derestricted, which is a convoluted process involving gear position sensors and CDI units.
If you have dropped the gearing though, it will pull higher speeds before hitting the limiter.
