Newbie GSX-R 400 Owner
Howdy guys :D
Right I am soon to be a new GSX-R 400 owner, pick it up week on Saturday and really lookin forward to it.
The bike was advertised as a GSX-R 400 'RR' but I have done some research and think it could be an RR SP2 ?
Anyway heres the pic for those in the know :)
I can see a single seat there, and its got double RR on the tank, not sure what exhaust its got on there ?
So does anyone know what model this bike is called please ? if it is an SP2 what difference does that make to a standard one ? and are they any good ? and any thing I should know about em.
Oh and are they fast and what they rev to lol (can you tell I am excited yet)
Cheers.
Matt :)

I'm pretty sure you're right about it being the SPII but wait till Stripes shows up and I'm sure he'll have an authoritative answer for you.
Welcome along by the way!

Re: Newbie GSX-R 400 Owner
Here she is after her first wash and polish.
I have put some new decals on it which I designed and cut myself, the gold Suzuki decal and the number 3 on the rear number board.
I took the bike out this morning for me first run and I had it off the clock in 5th :D
Heres some pics :
What a fun little toy it is :D

Odd, the wiring loom sticking out round the outside of the frame on the last pics there
- Still in KPH then, put an inline KPH-MPH convertor and I very much doubt you will go off the end of the clock at 180MPH then (don't let me stop you trying though)I had it off the clock in 5th

Re: Newbie GSX-R 400 Owner
Spent a good few hours other day routing the wires back inside the frame, what kinda numpty put em on the outside I don't know.
Ohh I wasnt aware that there was an inline converter for the speedo, now that would be useful, any more details on this ?
Cheers :D
