gsxr400 problem

hello guys,
newbie her im having problem with gsxr400 1986 model, the problem after starting and idling it
for 2 or 3 minutes the bike die, try to start it again bike wont start! then pulled plug to check for
the spart no spark at plug...is this a cdi failure? hope someone help me with this...tia

It could be the CDI or your coils. Does it start again when the bike is cold? Are you creating a ground for the plug when you are looking for a spark?

hi scotty, yes the bike start when its already cold! i put ground wire on each spark plug to check for spark...Jun

Check your float bowls.

If there isnt a fast enough draw of fuel then youll get the problems you describe.
