Ive had a suzi 400 of one type or another for the past 15 years so ive kind of become attached to them. :grin:

I am just in the market for one atm. It is the only 400 other then a NC29 that I have a soft spot for. And only the GK76. I think it is the frame that does it.

A bit off topic but is there much point spending a bit more on an SP?

With the derestriction of a standard GK76, an exhaust and the correct jetting it should go quite well?

Are there any other performance mods that are worth while?

just supply the o'ring kit. I buy in bulk and then just supply at cost so these bikes can stay on the road.
I got sick of people asking why the bike ran crap and then within the month it would be on ebay in bits.
If you buy the o'rings from Suzi they cost over £80 so at £11 a set its got to be worth giving them a go before throwing the towel in

I can't comment on the standard engine, but it is supposed to be a bit easier to live with on the road.
I have an SP, which has a mad tall first gear and a heavy clutch. Not so good in traffic, but excellent for out-dragging pimped up toyotas.
When I initially got it, it had a larger rear sprocket, which really gave it some go off the line, so that maybe something to consider.

The rear stock sprocket is 44t if i remember correctly?

However with a 43t rear the bike is amazing, i will definatly be getting another. Im sure mine had a sv650 525 pitch rear sprocket on.
