So Bowches returns! And with a bloomin' Hayabusa!! Quite a contrast to the 400's. And 174mph..well done, I hit an indicated 140 on my '99 'Blade a few years ago and that was scary enough. Perhaps it's about time you took up racing proper  Have you written off the NC29 or is it sitting neglected in a corner somewhere?
Try not to disappear for quite so long this time.

I won't even tell you what top speed my (modified) Thunderace would do, let's just say it would outpace an unrestricted 'Busa or GTR1400........

Hi Foxy400,

The NC29 is doing well. I just recently changed the starter motor it. It had been making a clicking sound prior to that. The nc29 is doing running fine now after changing the starter motor. It's got slightly under 54000 mil/km on the clock. Yea the Hayabusa is a completely different bike altogther

Obviously I did 174 in a safe space so it was pretty easy to do. I've only done 150mph on a certain road   which I'm not gonna mention. It does get scary at that speed because a car can change lane without looking properly lol so I rather not do that on road.

wow that must have been a fast thunderace, it must have had a turbo or supercharger on it to outpace a busa.

I just wanted to try out the busa I know there are many people who dont like the look of it

Yea the brakes are not that great on the Hayabusa.

The Hayabusa is a 1999 unrestricted bike. It's pretty standard apart from red micron cans.....and its red and black.

Got 220mph written on the clock

I like the look and brown colour of the original hayabusa. I thought it looked different from everything else on the road

It's really nice to be back on the 400greybike website. My Hayabusa has to be tested for ULEZ as this annoying scheme is coming upto the M25 and I am within the zone. I'm looking at selling this hayabusa and getting a newer gen 2. May even try other bikes. Luckily both my 400s are ULEZ complaint.

I have not ridden a bike properly in about 2 months now and it feels like a lifetime.

Great looking Busa you've got there Bowches. I love them even though they're almost ugly. I also like English Bull Terriers and they're hardly attractive
At the Superbike Supermarket place (or whatever it's called) near Macclesfield, they have about 10 Hyabusas for sale, both old and new. I'm surprised how cheap they are, so if you're seriously thinking of changing yours you ought to nip up and take a look.
Btw where was that petrol station in your pic? You said it was near Manchester, which is where I am. You could have dropped in for a cuppa. And maybe I could have talked you into buying my XS400 project ;)
