GPZ400 piston rings
hi!
recently I registered on this forum, but I been reading some time before.
I need a little help, I looking for gpz 400 piston rings, engine ZX400DE-040766, a friend mine told's me this item are discontinued, this is true?, do you know about aftemarket replacement?

They are. Your bore (assuming it's the GPZ400R IL4) is 55mm. About your only option is to over-bore and fit 57mm pistons from a ZXR400, just bear in mind the ZXR has a 3mm shorter stroke. Or just stick a ZXR400 motor in.
Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.
