EBC disc fitting problems

Post by beanpole1990 » Sat Sep 17, 2011 11:30 am

Hi

I've recently bought a set of EBC discs for my L9 and I am having some trouble installing them.

The problem is that the discs do not sit central in the callipers which stops the wheel from moving. Do the discs need spacers to allow them to run central in the calliper?

Many thanks

John

Sounds to me like you have the wrong discs, incorrect offset.

Hi

The discs are the correct ones as I have checked the part numbers on the discs. I have ordered some new disc plates from Kawasaki and hopefully this will solve the problem.

Many thanks

they are thicker than the OE discs so the calipers need spacing with washers ... its only about 1mm.

pretty sure the bumf that comes with the discs explains that :?:
