can anyone tell me if there is any difference between H & L model fork legs?

They are different for sure..but the specifics..err..I dunno!

I can't tell you about the internals,but i believe the H model fork is about 25mm longer than the L model.

L model forks are fatter in the middle as well. L model forks fit into an H model top yoke ok, but the bottom yoke needs boring out 2mm. And you can't just use an L bottom yoke on an H as the stem is completely different. Don't ask me how I know all this........

When you say the stem is different do you mean larger dia,or smaller dia.or longer or what.

The L model has a larger diameter stem.
