Slipper Clutch
Hi All,
Trying not to be a one hit wonder here...again i was a member over 10 years ago...
So ill try to post were i can..as questions enter my little mind!
any ways...anyone had an experience of
Sigma Slipper clutches on 400/600 Yamahas...????
there creeping up in price...
which i bought one when they were just over 500 quid...
My belief is Sigma / Yoyodyne? are the only options...
is there was a cheaper option like using R6 bits...???
Shame the Yamahas don't have back torque limiters like some ZXR400/ ZXR750 had
standard back in the 90s...
Regards to all

Re: Slipper Clutch
I think sigma is only one.
The ZXR750 was the first production bike with a slipper clutch, it had to be set up by varying the overall clutch pack ??? I think that's what I read. So although it would be happier for us because it wouldn't cost anything it 's going to be a little bit cruder than the Sigma
