3TJ carburetor setting
Hi all,
I have prepared my carbs for the dyno run of my 3TJ.
Hope, I have done all needed changes.
- changed jet needle
- changed main air jet
- needle position = 3.5
- modified suction piston, 3mm hole x 2
- prepared some sets of main jets
One question left:
In the Race Kit Manual is a "suction spring" listed (3TJ-14933-70), guess it is a diaphragm spring.
If I compare with the standard spare part list, it is 3TJ-14933-00.
Do anyone knows the difference?
Found a 3TJ-14933-40-00 diaphragm spring in a Yamaha YZ (MX), looks much shorter.
Is the length the difference?
THX for all answers.

Re: 3TJ carburetor setting
No idea, but there's a set up manual for the Standard 3TJ RR SP in the document library of this website. There's a link at the very top of this page
