HONDA CBR600 F2 R Wheel & Axle in 3en2 - Same Axle?

Post by uniquefzrfreak » Mon May 12, 2008 9:14 pm

I saw a few pics on a yahoo forum that made it look like the spindle for the CBR600 F2 rear wheel, is exactly the same as the spindle for the 3en2? - Therefore making it loads easier to drop an F2 rear wheel into an EN1/2 arm?

Can anyone confirm this? - Sounds like an easy and cheap way (as F2 wheels don't seem to expensive) to get some wider rubber into an EN1 arm.

No idea, but it all sounds too easy.

no idea. The best way to tell would be to buy a cbr spindle and try it in the arm. But if the arm's a different shape then the 600 wheel might still foul it.

I went round to my mates last night who has a load of spare F2 stuff. - Ignore this thread completely, nothing is the same and nothing fits. - I've no idea what the Yahoo post was I saw (as it had a claimed picture of the F2 axle and the FZR axle and they both looked the same).

I probably got the wrong end of the stick, but either way, there is no mileage in my original question.
