Yeah I was interested in the 3HE flywheel, wouldn't there be clearance issues with the cases ???

ok cant find a picture of the 3he flywheel mod,so i took these ones a 3tj the other 4jh,but you get the idea,a trigger wheel could have the same teeth config as the ignition that you would like to run,the v.r pickup sensor is stock yamaha, just spaced off to sit inline with trigger wheel

Nice idea with the ignition trigger,
What mods do you have to make to get the F3 gearbox to fit.

That's certainly in there, nice figures on the graph.
Did you use standard ratios ?

if you mean did i use standard gears ,yes ,the input and output shafts are made by nova to match up with clutch basket and sprocket,i looked at an r6 box first but the gears were to big for the crank cases,i think the cbr gearbox shafts were
set 5mm further apart, and the box is 9mm wider,so i was suprised i got it to fit in,its been the most reliable gearbox sofar in the fzr motor, below is the results of a nova close ratio box letting go,what a mess.

Hi EC and All,
So can someone tell me if you can bolt a YZF600 Thundercat top end onto the 3TJ bottom?
I have seen various posts about this sort of thing e.g. it yields 490cc but no one posts rod lengths, whether the stud pattern is the same etc.
cheers
