i never seem to be not doing something to this bike.......

so as it originally stood after the initial conversion.

Then unfortunately i had a minor mishap at croft, not too much damage, more cosmetic so not too bad,and after checking my lap times was only 4 seconds off the blade times (1.30 so not too shabby) so decided it has got some serious potential.

But as we spent the whole day trying to find some decent settings on the suspnsion, different preload spacers, oil weight, air gap i decided that the original settings where the best lol,so as rrsp forks are hard to find went down the route of a zxr400 front end,SP1 calipers,R6 rear shock and managed to get a set of flatslide carbs

so here it is at stands atm, front end on,carbs fitted but need to mod the ram/air box so it fits properly+throttle cable, everything is just on to make sure it all goes together will take a bit of time to get it set up properly, shame i didn't measure the ride height before i started

So jobs to do...

new exhaust system needs making
calipers to fit
set up carbs+Q/S on the dyno

oh and just bought an engine off ebay, bit of a gamble as the bloke basically new nothing about apart from it came from a sidecar unit, but you could see in the pic it had been ported,so with that in mind we have assumed that it will have different cams+maybe some head work,if not i've got a lot of spare engine parts

will add more pics as i go along.
