3tj new plugs starts and runs lovely, help with EXUP cables.

Post by spadey99 » Sat Jan 08, 2011 2:44 pm

Hi guys.

got some iridium plugs for the bike, popped them in and started first time, perfect..... Ok so now all ive got left to do is put the EXUP cables on. The bike is still fairing less but do I have to,Take tank off?

Anyone got any pictures of where the cables are routed? How do I know what position the valve on the exhaust should be in before putting cables on?

Im away down south at moment with work but should be back in about 10 days so any pictures help etc is greatly appreciated then I can take her for a spin.....

yes you need the tank off to get to the exup servo,
you can get away with leaving the panels on but to make the job easier i'd take the left lower off (it saves rolling round the floor trying to see what your doing)

i think you'll find this is the very kiddie

the cables only need to be finger tight and a bit of slack wont hurt
just make sure there the right way round

edit: here's another one for the yam tech section on the home page, come on you mods not everyone rides a hahahahonda
