Jet Sizes

Post by Street-DK » Fri Dec 31, 2010 6:20 pm

Hey,
I have just converted my FZR400 3TJ to run individual pod filters but upon firing her up there was a flat spot.
I cant determine where in the rev range as my clocks are not finished just yet but it was low down say 3-4000RPM.

Anybody got ideas on what jets sizes to change to?

Regards
Danny/Street

If it hesitates when you fast blip the throttle and is worse when cold then go up on the pilot jet. Standard size is is 32.5 and I would look at going up 1 or 2 sizes.

I'ts a guess by the way... I had similar issue on a 600 conversion and went up on th pilot jet to sort it.
