
Jets in the carbs may self clean over a period if run occasionally.
If not; try just a single strand of wire from a wire brush down the 3 jets in the base of each carb.One is very tiny and deeply recessed.
I no longer suggest the jet block to be stripped routinely from the body due to fragility of the parts (o ring/seals and jet block screw) thru age.Only as a last resort.
Often a palm sealing the offending carb throat and the bike revved is sufficient to pull the obstruction/softened varnish clear.
I think keeping the float bowls full at all times prevents a lot of fuelling problems.

EDIT; Whilst Facebook may be good for getting an illicit shag it is perhaps not so useful when faced with a shagged bike. !
