radiator re core help
Hi, I'm after a re core for my 4dx and I'm being quoted around the £200 mark. Has anyone ever had one for or know of a reputable place. It's not leaking just all the fins flattened as usual and I want it to look pretty

You might be able to get a new alloy one for not much more than that.

I haven't used these people. I found them when I was considering getting an upgraded rad for my 3TJ.

Re: radiator re core help
I had an NC30 rad recored by Northern Radiators several years ago. It was great..but has not lasted very well.
I'd be looking to get a rad that can be made to fit and haev it modfied - new pipes and brackets is cheaper than a recore

Re: radiator re core help
Yam's are fairly good on fin bending so rather than spend on recoring I'd look for a secondhand one - this is afterall just tidying up the look of the bike

Re: radiator re core help
Thanks for replies it was northern radiators that quoted 170. Rang padgetts they can't get one anymore at if they could it would be £1500
Think I'll try a few more places for now
