I just need to know how hard it is to remove the exup valve and put it in my new downpipes. My new ones dont seem to have it in so will need to change it over. cheers

Re: Exup removal
It's "striaght forward" but the bolts have probably rusted in ... still I guess you won't need to worry about how much you muller the old pipes.

Re: Exup removal
i'd b tempted to take the top off the bolts then drill them if needed then slide the cover off if you dont need the old pipes. had to do this on the knackered one in the race bike, just put a plate over it by re-tapping but i didn't need to keep the exup!

Re: Exup removal
i should be extra careful taking the old bolts out of the exup valve cover (especially if it's the only one you got) as the cover gets seriously brittle because it's cast
i got new headers with exup which were in good order for my tj so i thought i'd try and save the old valve and cover from my knackered headers to use as a spare (easier said than done)
if the alen key bolts still have some kind of head on em then you can drill through the center pretty well, then take the top off, but make sure the hole you drill is the same size as the cover plate hole and don't try and punch it out or it will break the cover and you'll need another
