The 3TJ spacers are 6mm I believe - so if you make the plates from 6mm th high quality alloy you should be right.

You probably can run a 4JH on 3HE carbs, but the 4JH will be close to the right setings making it easier for you in the long run, the 4JH has velocity stacks too.

Thanks Evil..... its getting quite exciting, the parts that are needed are coming along nicely (slowly)

Some time this month (hopefully) going to get the R6 shock on the back end which will nice,
strip & paint the sub frames the best i can with out having them blasted & powder coated "open to advice".

Then maybe put the SP forks on or i may wait until i get some scaffold tube to make an over head face roof trust
to hang the bike like others do.

I am taking pictures with the better half's new camera, which she said "DONT TOUCH" but i've gone & mist placed the lead you stick the the computer !!

Sounds like it's coming together.
I had a 3en2 and painted the subframe with 5 wheels silver and clear, obviously the subfame's black on the 3TJ but Halfords do a black and PU clear for wheels.

Get a small wire wheel on a drill to take the dodgy paint of then a bit of sanding and your there.

a dremel type tool is quite useful with the little sander wheel on for the tighter bits around some of the welds i found! I used a zinc primer on mine before i sprayed colour.
