Hi guys,
I'm in the process of putting a 3TJ back together but am not a 100% sure how the cabling is routed at the rear of the bike (i.e. from battery backwards).
Has anyone got a few pictures they could post up or email to me at aidanlever@hotmail.com of how the cables should be routed??
Many thanks
Aidan

have a look in the sticky for manuals in the general section, there should be a diagram in there!

Thanks for the reply mate.
Unfortunately the FZR manual i got off here is quite a bad copy, and it isn't quite clear enough to tell how the cables run through the subframce and undertray.
Regards
Aidan

There should be a "cable routing" diagram, it's different to the wiring diagram

as taggy and evil said the diagram's are in the general section, (but they aint great) you should be able to root them without to much trouble as most connectors only fit 1 way but here's another diagram you might find help's

"electrical 1" will probably be the best to look at ( it's mainly for part no's but gives you the layout as well)

Re: Cable routing on FZR4 3TJ - Rear of motorcycle
I've got a Yamaha assembly manual for the 4DX at the workshop. There should be a section about routing the the wiring in there.
Will have a look tomorrow and see if I can scan it or take a photo of the pages.

Tried taking a photo of the pages relating to the cable routing, but they didn't come out very well.
I willtry to get the pages scanned and see if that is any better.
