Test ride
Took my bike out for a quick 10 mins earlier, for the first time since the front brake locked up and spat me off a couple of months ago.
Had to buy another battery as the now sorted charging issues killed the old one.
Took no chances this time with a tool set, a mobile and a friend following me !!!!!
Was nervous turning into left handers, could have cracked walnuts with the cheeks of me arse
Anyway, all went well. Thought the front brake was binding again but wasn't, can't believe the engine braking.
Just whipped the clutch in and it rolls along nicely.
Well impressed with the mid range for a 400cc bike. I didn't want to cane it as its not legal yet (i did really !!)
So took it to nine thou and couldn't believe that there is five to go.
Ready to book it in for MOT now, and the insurance is only £85 fully comp.Think being old helps.
Slight issue with rich running, starts instantly on choke but can be knocked off in less than a minute.
Will book it in for a balance.
12 months to do it was well worth it

That's good news, glad it runs well
