Hi.
Does anyone know what model cdi should be in this bike?
The bike in front of me just has a plain black cdi which looks like its missing a 3 wire plug.
Cheers
Kris

Uk models don't have a speed restriction, so the CDI doesn't have the imput wires.
The speedo will probably read in MPH with KMH shown smaller.

Ok so this might be correct? Only the cdi has no markings or labels on it at all.

might be - I've not seen one of those so couldn't really say. If it's a UK SP it should have a plaque on it, if you're unsure check the frame number with Yamaha UK ?

Didn't think they had a plaque on the bike? Just thought they came with a wooden framed plaque?

You're probably right - check the frame number

Can you post a pic up Kris? It might help to identify the part.

The bike is definitely a UK bike but unsure if the cdi is. I will take a pic tomorrow but basically its just a cdi box with no markings at all minus a plug with 3 wires coming out of it.
